A bit about Suzie…

All of Suzie’s previous roles have encompassed her passion for working with others; understanding the psychology of learning, providing accessible development strategies for different learning preferences and empowering others to maximise on their potential.   Suzie’s background in Education and her understanding of the psychology of behaviour and leadership, means she is well qualified to contribute to organisational growth strategies.

Industry sector – Suzie worked within the Education sector for 10 years, with roles in Secondary, Further and Higher Education during which time she specialised in Additional Support Needs, specifically Autism.

Psychology of behaviour and development – Suzie’s knowledge and experiences of working with Additional Support Needs grew to achieving greater understanding of human development and the psychology behind our behaviours.  She furthered her qualifications in this area, focusing on Counselling, specifically Psychotherapy.  This provided Suzie with an enhanced understanding of the psychology of learning and development and enabled her to work as a Counsellor alongside her educational positions.

Leadership and management – In previous roles, Suzie has held a variety of Leadership positions, often working with geographically diverse teams.   Ensuring inclusion and high levels of effective communication is an area of particular interest and one in which she focused on whilst leading teams working across different geographical boundaries.  In addition to her practical experience, Suzie also has a solid understanding of the theory and latest research within the field of Leadership and Management.

To underpin her own skill set, Suzie is currently increasing her theoretical knowledge further as an Executive Coach and will complete her ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring in Nov. 17.
